What are you good at?

There was a day when I approached one man who asked me unusually weird question: „ And in what are you good at?Pretty simple question, isn´t it? I immediately started to think – looking for his answer. I was so surprised that even after few awkward minutes of thinking I was not able to give him an answer.

After some time I found myself asking if it’s possible, that in my age, and years of studying at university and after eighteen years of doing sports on professional level, with so many life experiences.

I don´t know the answer.
I still don´t know it.

Reason of my hesitations
Being saleswoman brings me a lot of memories, one of them is finding out about myself.

But I probably know the number one reason of my hesitations. I’m putting too high pressure and demand on myself. I am actually pretty sure that a lot of people that I know would start to grind the answers being at my position – just like:

I have university degree”; “I can communicate in three languages”;
I do sports on professional level”; “I have a great communication skills”;
I am good at driving cars”; “I can bake awesome cakes” etc.

Professional levelWell the problem is that I am not confident in my skills enough to tell that. Or maybe I am just too modest to say so. But until the moment I will be the best in any activity or field, then I would never tell anyone that I am the best in it.  What is enough for somebody isn´t enough for me.

What about you?
In what do you think you are good at?
